Unprecedented (Documentary Series)

From the unmasked rallies of fall 2020 to the National Mall on January 6th, Michael spent ten months embedded with the Trump family on the editorially independent series Unprecedented which is currently streaming on HBO Max and Discovery+. Because of his work during the storming of Capitol Hill and the content of the show’s exclusive interviews, the January 6th Congressional Committee subpoenaed footage for its investigation. Written about in the New York Times, Washington Post, Politico, Variety, and numerous other publications, Unprecedented shaped the era between Trump’s two terms, and it will continue to be historical in its importance due to its revelations and insights. Michael filmed a combination of rallies and protests along with interviews that are elegant yet subtly subversive.
